First sight at love
a body joins by bones
a mind thinks by synapses
what makes one love another?
two hearts, four eyes
one pair bonded by a pair of another
can only deepen with exercise
the heart you never opened
the words you never spoke
are mountains to be summited
come face your unseen friend
learn her gifts and graces
and teach your way of life
expect you will fall
know you will have a last drop
until then be alive
smiling is a worthy way to be seen
beyond treasurable to the onlookers
not a joy can be had without a body
is who you are
yours is like the other
what keeps it in comfort?
your mind and your ideas
you are therefore you think
are you not like the other?
you pass by her glance
see it fixate the next time
first sight at love
you are loved beyond your friends
you are loved deeper than you know
and you are surrounded
where the other has your envy
she has your life
and kept in safe housing
look, speak, touch in new places
say what you have not said before
become the other you want to love
